DayBreak's database helps business growth
DayBreak’s database was used to assist IBM with the launch of the IBM ThinkPad. We looked for companies that employed large field sales organizations. These included all of the large pharmaceutical companies such as EI Lilly, Merck and Johnson & Johnson. It also included the telecommunications field sales organizations for Sprint, AT&T and Qwest. We identified over 2,000 individuals responsible for the large scale deployment of notebook computers for their respective organizations. IBM was able to successfully provide evaluation units to hundreds of key decision makers resulting in tens of thousands of IBM ThinkPad computers deployed.
Our ten million plus key decision maker database was used to identify the Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Network Administrators, Telecom Managers and others responsible for the purchase of high-end networking system purchases for their respective organizations. Cisco was able to introduce their routers, hubs and switches to tens of thousands of key decision makers resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars of hardware and services sold.
ADP wishes to expand its services to include numerous offers to Human Resources Directors and Administrators. They turned to DayBreak’s contact list databases to assist their inside and outside sales force teams. We were able to deliver an ultra-qualified contact list of individuals interested in evaluating ADP’s new services. The program resulted in thousands of high profile firms signing on with ADP’s new services.
We worked with Dell to identify a number of possible partners to provide qualified leads. The “Dellegate” program was designed as a lead-generation program for these possible reseller partners. DayBreak’s database, coupled with a team of telemarketing experts provided Dell with a quality lead-generation program for Dell’s internal corporate sales force, as well s those focused on channel partner development.
DayBreak’s database assisted Sprint with the launch of the Sprint PCS program. There were over fifty sales reps assigned to use DayBreak’s database to promote Sprint’s PCS program to hundreds of thousands of Small-to-Medium sized businesses throughout the United States. We focused on identifying the true key decision makers for their mobile phone services, delivered the value proposition and helped close hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue per year.
Our databases were used to promote Postini in its quest to stop spam, and help with mail delivery services throughout the United States. The efforts using DayBreak databases were crutial to be able to introduce Postini’s services to Chief Information Officers, Chief Security Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Network Administrators, Directors of Network Administration and others responsible for the purchasing of software technology to ensure their network is secure.
DayBreak’s contact list databases assisted Symantec with a number of different product launches. Our contact list helped to identify the key contacts for purchasing site licenses for anti-virus applications, network security applications, and other applications as Symantec promoted their products to corporate decision makers throughout the United States.

AT&T - Our databases assisted SBC (before SBC acquired AT&T) with the identification, qualification and sales of their T-1 business internet and telecom lines. We used the database to identify the Chief Communication Officers, Chief Technology Officers and Chief Information Officers throughout North America. There was a full time team of twenty individuals working over a year on the project.
DayBreak’s contact list database assisted Compaq Computer with the Compaq Joint Marketing Program. The goals of the program were to identify third party vendors who could add value to the Compaq product line by jointly working with Compaq. Each of the vendors would agree to provide a specific discount only to Compaq computer purchasers and in return Compaq agreed to proactively promote these third party vendor solutions in each box that was shipped via a special Compaq Joint Marketing Catalogue.
We helped promote Mitsubishi’s Overhead projector aimed specifically at corporate board rooms of the Fortune 1000. Using DayBreak’s database we created a sub-database of all of the a) Corporate Trainers, b) Chief Executive Officers, c) Chief Technology Officers, d) Chief Financial Officers, e) Chief Marketing Officers, f) EVP/SVP and VP’s of Sales and/or Marketing.
TrendMicro was assisted by identifying the Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Network Administrators and other individuals responsible for purchasing quantity licenses for TrendMicro’s anti-virus software applications. The program was tremendously successful, resulting in tens of thousands of incremental licenses sold.
WatchGuard Technologies, a global leader of business security solutions, was assisted with the launch of a number of security hardware and software solutions. Our database was used to assist with the launch of their firewall operating hardware device and software solutions. A team of five people were initially using the database, and it was expanded to include a team of ten full-time professional sales team members.
Our database assisted Google with the launch of the Google Search Appliance (GSA). It provides fast, reliable search for intranet or websites. It is an on-premise, easy to deploy solution, the GSA provided organizations high relevancy right of the box, could be customized to meet specific needs and scales easily as content grows. The technology was promoted to DayBreak’s contact list databases of Chief Information Officers, Chief Security Officers, Chief Executive Officers, Network Administrators and numerous other key job titles within corporations throughout North America. The program was tremendously success with sales in the tens of millions of dollars.
Yahoo took advantage of DayBreak’s contact list database when it wished to launch its online advertising services to Small-to-Medium businesses throughout North America. DayBreak's Chief Executive Officer was responsible for the identification, profiling and introduction of Yahoo’s corporate advertising programs to over one hundred thousand small to medium sized businesses.
Intel Corp. leverages DayBreak’s contact list when it promoted its OverDrive Processor. The OverDrive Processor was a fast and easy way for corporate users to double the speed of their computer processors by merely installing the OverDrive Processor. We were responsible for seeding the market with thousands of OverDrive Processors. The individuals contacted included Chief Executive Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Network Administrators and other individuals on the software and hardware support team. In addition to introducing the technology to possible purchasers, the information was forwarded to Intel channel partners for fulfilment.

Adobe Systems leveraged the power of DayBreak’s contact list databases when it wanted to launch a new version of Adobe PageMaker. DayBreak databases were responsible for the identification of Vice President’s of Marketing, Graphic Designers, Directors of Marketing and other individuals within corporate, education and governmental accounts in North America who regularly use graphic design software applications. Our contract with Aldus Corp. was extended when Adobe purchased Aldus.
Canon Computer Systems, Inc. (CCSI) worked with their Vice President of North American Sales, John Arnos, to assist the launch of Canon’s new notebook product. We were responsible for identifying all of the largest users of notebook and portable computers throughout North America. We targeted a list of the 500 largest corporate sales forces which cumulatively were using hundreds of thousands of portable computers. We were responsible for identifying the key decision makers - normally the Vice President of Sales coupled with the Chief Technology Officer, providing evaluation units to the right people, and ensuring they purchased the Canon products through Canon authorized channel partners.
Sony Electronics leveraged DayBreak contact list databases when it wished to launch a new line of sophisticated storage devices. The devices were targeted at those within corporate accounts using large amount of storage. The products were introduced to Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Network Administrators and those responsible for the Standard Operating Environment within their respective organizations. The program was tremendously successful with tens of millions of dollars of Sony Electronics products purchased and added to the APL.
We assisted Pentax with the introduction of a new line of corporate imaging products. Their products were introduced to the Vice President of Marketing, Director of Marketing, Graphic Designers and other individuals responsible for establishing the hardware purchases for imaging products within corporate marketing departments. The product was extremely successful resulting in a very high return-on-investment compared to traditional marketing programs.

Our contact list databases assisted software giant ComputerAssociates. Over a number of years, DayBreak's senior management team helped numerous departments within CA to identify a wide variety of corporate, education and government decision makers. We used our databases to identify the individuals who were responsible for deciding which software applications are used by millions of employees around the world. The program was extremely successful, and helped CA launch a number of products, as well as further its position as the world's largest software provider.
Ingram Micro is the world’s largest computer hardware and software distributor. It supports tens of thousands of resellers throughout the world by providing excellent pricing and availability to products. For Computer companies that wish to leverage a multi-tiered distribution system, Ingram Micro is the logical choice. DayBreak’s contact list databases provided corporate, education and government pull-through of product sales, as well as the ability for direct contact with any of the ten plus thousand channel partners.

3Com leveraged DayBreak’s key contact databases for the introduction of their corporate networking products. We used our database to identify the Network Administrators, Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers and other key individuals responsible for evaluating high-end networking equipment. This technology allows corporate, education and government accounts to communicate internally - as well as via the internet.
We worked with numerous marketing executives at US Robotics to assist the US Robotics modem product line. Based in Skokie, Illinois, US Robotics was having a difficult time keeping up with the demand for their products; however, they wanted to ensure their products continued to get added on the Approved Product Lists and Standard Operating Environment of key corporate, education and government accounts. DayBreak key contact databases greatly assisted US Robotics with their long-term strategy. The promotion was tremendously successful and ended with the acquisition of US Robotics by 3Com and eventually 3Com by HP.
Pixar leveraged DayBreak's key contact list database long before Pixar began making feature films. Pixar was purchased many years ago by Apple Founder Steve Jobs. For several decades prior to launching movies on its own, Pixar was selling high-end 3D rendering software applications. DayBreak's EO, Doug Monahan worked with Pixar executives to develop a strategy to take advantage of DayBreak's databases to introduce Pixar's software to graphic design firms, and corporate, education and government accounts.
BMC Software is one of the largest and most successful software companies in the world. BMC offers a comprehensive approach and a unified platform for managing IT. BMC offers solutions across an entire organization - mainframe distributed systems, physical to virtual, operations to support. DayBreak's contact list database assisted BMC Software for a number of years, with each new product introduction and product enhancement.

Novell is a leading provider of infrastructure software. Their vision is helping people and technology working as one. They help customers reduce the cost, complexity and risk of computing in any platform. DayBreak's Chief Executive Officer worked with Novell senior management to introduce a broad spectrum of Novell products into corporate America. The programs were all tremendously successful - providing tremendous ROI for Novell.
Xerox has single handily captured the copy marketplace. From its early beginnings, Xerox has rocketed to success with document management hardware and applications. Our database assisted Xerox with the identification of decision makers within corporate, educational and governmental accounts throughout North America. We proactively contacted individuals responsible for purchasing hardware and software solutions. Our relationship at Xerox was at the highest levels.

Sun Microsystems was a company selling computers, computer components, computer software and information systems. It was purchased by Oracle in 2009. Doug Monahan, DayBreak's CEO assisted Sun with the identification of key decision makers who would be responsible for adopting their SPARC processors and high end computing systems. DayBreak's contact list database assisted Sun with ensuring its products were on the Approved Product Lists for many of the Fortune 1000 resulting in tens of millions of dollars in high-end server sales for Sun and Sun's channel partners.
Nortel Networks is a recognized leader in delivering communications solutions. It provides Business and Financial Restructuring services. We worked with Nortel’s senior management team in order to identify key decision makers throughout North America. DayBreak’s databases successfully identified key decision makers throughout the United States and Canada responsible for purchasing Nortel products.

Lucent Technologies - Prior to Lucent being purchased by Alcatel, DayBreak’s databases were instrumental in the successful launch of a wide range of high end business networking systems, as well as hardware products targeted at high-end cable providers. We worked diligently with Lucent to truly identify each of the key business managers, and then developed a strategy to introduce Lucent Technology apps to the right people - at the right time.

Seagate Technologies is the largest provider of hardware storage solutions in the world. DayBreak’s contact list databases assisted Seagate with its efforts to continue its’ rapid growth. We identified both OEM opportunities as well as corporate customers that could purchase Seagate Technology products. The programs we put together for Seagate are amongst many of their most productive ROI programs.
